CAUSSE DU THERÓN EN PENTE
The harvest began a little later in September in Cahors and lasted less than a month. This vintage was marked by the strong drought in the summer, coupled with high temperatures, which required the vine to tap into its reserves. Fortunately, the water reserves (due to a very wet spring) allowed the plant to be fed all summer. This hot and dry weather lasted in September and October, producing beautiful maturity with perfect sanitary conditions.

This Malbec is about elegance. It has a fine grain texture with a vertical structure. It is a fruity, expressive wine, very persistent in the palate. The finish provides the limestone tannins one would expect from the soils of Cahors.
